Data Natives 2016
Data Natives is a conference for the data-driven generation. Born in Berlin, Germany, Data Natives emerged to spur the interaction between startups and businesses within the growing field of Big Data, AI, Machine Learning and IoT.
For 2016 we brought together 900 attendees, 90+ speakers, 40+ media partners, 10 startups, 30 partners, holding the conference at the majestic Bolle Festsäle, in Berlin Moabit.
This year we doubled the attendees, raising the bar with even more cutting edge technology from innovators, influencers and industry leaders as well as the best of Berlin tech scene from rising and promising European startups.
Datanatives is part of Dataconomy Media GmbH, the leading portal for news, events and expert opinion from the world of data driven technology. Founded in Berlin, a hub for data science innovation, the company provides a global network of industry-renowned contributors and local communities all across Europe.
For Data Natives I was the production manager for the whole conference, working directly with the core team leaded by Elena Poughia, co-founder of the conference and MD of Dataconomy.
My duties involved project planning, budget control, production of the printed material (bags, t-shirts, and designed related itens), negotiation with suppliers and partners, such as bringing together Ahoy Coworking Space as hosts to our workshops and closing party, among many other duties.
Data Natives was one of the biggest professional marks of my career, where I learned and developed further my event management skills, using my network and knownledge aquired on the last three years living in Berlin.
